Application of S-2 Tool Steel ball

S-2 Tool Steel balls are designed to achieve extreme ruggedness.The ball surface has a smooth ground and polished finish.These balls provide the toughness and strength necessary for severe shock loads.S-2 Tool Steel balls are hardened throughout and have unusually good wear characteristics. Inparticular, impact toughness and ball crushing load are greatly improved compared to GCr15 steels: impact toughness is increased by about 5 times, and ball crushing load is increased by about 60%.
S-2 Tool Steel balls find most frequent use in oil field equipment and offshore drilling operations.They provide good service in withstanding the abrasion of pulverized rock and mud slurries.
Application：
1. Screw Drilling Bearing (String Bearing) for Downhole Motors: Multi-row thrust ball bearings and multi-row thrust roller bearings; mainly used for downhole drilling tools and maintenance.
2. Tricone Bits: Tricone bit is an important tool for oil drilling, and its working performance will directly affect the drilling quality, drilling efficiency and drilling cost.
